H.O.G. Chapter Ride - Zipping Through Guntersville State Park

Come join RCs Will P. and Ali P. on a Chapter Ride to Guntersville State Park for lunch & ziplining fun!

Lake Guntersville Park Pine Crest Lodge Dining / Zip Line Adventures!  We'll do lunch at the Historic Lake Guntersville Lodge for buffet style dining (prices $$) or do the Screamin' Eagle Zipline Adventures Park (Information HERE). 

We will hand out ride pins for Chapter Members upon arrival.  Folks can either dine in for lunch or enjoy the zip line adventures.  The chapter ride will resume from the park 2 hours after arrival time to allow for those that want to zip line (level 1) the opportunity to do so. If you intend to zip line – please pack your lunch and drinks as there will not be time to eat and then zip line unless you are not traveling back with the pack.

The plan is to leave RHD and take a right out of the dealership and travel HWY 20 West to I565 West.  We will link up with I-65S and take the SR-67 Exit.  Right Turn on SR-67 and to upper river Road to SR36.  SR-36 to Union Hill Road.  Union Hill Road to HWY 231.  HWY 231 to Union Grove Road.  Union Grove Road to SR-69.  SR-69 to HWY 431.  HWY 431 to CR-227. 

The CR-227 portion of the ride can be more challenging...we'll accomodate all riding styles and comfort levels for all riders.  Speeds will be kept at a maximum of 5 MPH over the posted speed limit.

The plan home is CR-227 to HWY 431.   HWY 431 to Cecil Ashburn Dr.  Cecil Ashburn Dr. to Carl T. Jones SE.  Carl T. Jones SE to HWY231.  HWY 231 to I565 W to RHD.

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.  All riders and passengers must sign a release. 

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends, and the individual HOG member.  Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior.  Redstone Chapter #4052 requests you “think before you drink” with the above in mind and refrain from consuming any number of impairment drinks that total more than the number of wheels you are on.  Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride.

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Redstone Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
