
This is a long ride on friendly farm country back roads. I have planned 2 stops on the way to the preserve. Most of this will be single file only so that you may enjoy the ride without having to concentrate on your fellow rider beside you.
Meet at Shell station on Greenbrier Pkwy. @10:00 a.m. KSU @10:15 a.m.
The route:
Exit Shell right to 565, merging onto 65. Exit 65 at Priceville, exit right onto 67. Right onto Deere Rd. At stop sign take right onto Upper River Rd. Follow Upper River Rd. to junction with AL 36 E. Take right onto 36 and then left onto Union Hill Rd. At stop sign take right onto Apple Grove Rd. Follow Apple Grove Rd till stop sign at junction at AL 67. Take left onto 67, left on Hulaco Rd, left on Hog Jaw Rd, right on Mat Morrow Rd., right on Ruth Rd. Cross 231 at the light which turns into Eddy Scant Rd. Turn left onto Friendship Rd., right onto Union Grove Rd., right onto Scant City Rd. Go thru the light at the intersection of Scant City Rd. and 69 which turns into Brashiers Chapel Rd. Take a left onto Fry Gap Rd. Left on Washington Rd, Right onto Browns Valley Rd.
Left onto Creek Path Rd., left on Willow Beach. At stop sign take left onto Sunset Dr. Go thru stop light to junction of Sunset Dr. and 431. Take left onto 231, right onto Cathedral Caverns Hwy, left onto Segler Rd., left onto Simpson Rd., right onto Anderson Rd., and immediate left onto Butler Mill Rd. Right onto New Hope Cedar Point Rd., Left onto Cherry Tree Rd. Take right entering the gravel parking lot of the Bethel Spring Nature Preserve.
Depart parking lot turning right onto Cherry Tree Rd, left onto Old Gurley Pike, right onto Main. At stop light with 431 take a left onto 431, right onto Sunset Trail, right onto 69, right onto Georgia Mtn Rd, right onto 69, right onto Union Grove Rd, right onto 231, left onto Union Hill Rd., left onto 36, right onto 67, right onto 65, merge onto 565, exit Mooresville Rd to access road to Redstone H-D.
Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired. All riders and passengers must sign a release.
Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends, and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Redstone Chapter #4052 requests you “think before you drink” with the above in mind and refrain from consuming any number of impairment drinks that total more than the number of wheels you are on. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride.
Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Redstone Chapter events.
