H.O.G. Chapter Ride - Four Parks &Throttle Ride

Monte Sano State Park 24 miles approx. 30 min.

Travel I565 to Governors Dr. Take a left onto Monto Sano Blvd. at the light. Take a right onto Nolen Ave to park entrance. It is very difficult to get a picture at the entrance. I'll position my bike by the sign while the group parks by the entrance station.

Back out Nolen Ave to Monte Sano Blvd. Take a left at the light onto Hwy 431. Straight shot to Shell Station.

Shell Station Hwy 431. 16.3 miles approx. 21 min.

Cathedral Caverns 19 miles approx. 20 min.

Back onto Hwy 431S take a left onto Cathedral Caverns Rd. Follow to park entrance. Good location for photos. 4 lane road with sign in the middle.

Back out Cathedral Caverns Rd. to Hwy 431. Take left onto 431 thru Gutersville to McDonalds. 

McDonalds/Taco Bell. 17.5 miles approx 23 min.

Exit McDonalds onto Blount Ave. At the light take a right onto Hwy 227. Follow to park entrance.

Guntersville State Park 7.9 miles 14 mins.

The group will park in the closed gas station parking lot. I'll move to the park sign, and we'll take a group photo.

Bucks Pocket State Park 15.4 miles 22 mins.

This road i very skectchy. Potholes, gravel, 90 deg turns, washout residue. Single file, SLOW! The group will park in the camper sanitation lane and move down to the sign for group photo.

Exit parking lot onto Hwy 227. Take left onto CR-50, left onto CR-20, 19, left onto %%&, left onto 173 to park entrance. This concludes th Park Ride. Pins will be issued at this time. If anyone wishes to return to the dealer I will gladly lead the group back.

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.  All riders and passengers must sign a release. 

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends, and the individual HOG member.  Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior.  Redstone Chapter #4052 requests you “think before you drink” with the above in mind and refrain from consuming any number of impairment drinks that total more than the number of wheels you are on.  Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride.

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Redstone Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
