This year I thought we should kick off our riding year with a bang.
On March 3rd, we will be heading to Daytona Beach FL for Daytona Beach Bike Week!
On March 3rd, we will be departing from Redstone Harley-Davidson at 8:00am. From there we will head south and we'll be stopping every hour or so for a break & to stretch our legs. We should arrive at our half way point (Dothan, AL) around 4:00pm. Quite a few have plans to stay at the Best Western Dothan Inn & Suites (1650 Westgate Parkway, Dothan, AL 36303). We'll plan on staying here on the return trip (March 7th) as well.
We will be breaking up the ride into 2 days. The first day March 3rd we will ride to Dothan for the night.
The next morning we will get up, eat breakfast, and then head east towards Daytona Beach. We should arrive around 4:00pm in the afternoon, get settled into our rooms, then coordinate plans to check out Bike Week.
On one of the days there, if anyone is interested, we could ride down to Adrenaline Harley-Davidson for the 1's that would like to enter into the drawing for the shocks that Redstone H-D is giving away at the end of April.
On March 7th, we will depart from Daytona heading back home. We will be doing the same as the trip down. Ride half way home (Dothan Best Western), stopping for the night, then on the 8th getting up & riding the rest of the way home.
