H.O.G. Chapter Ride- Cross It On!

Come join RCs Deno M. and Shawn B. as we take you on a "Cross it On" ride to Sewanee, TN to see the Sewanee Cross Memorial. Meet Shell (Greenbrier Pkwy/ 565) @ 08:30 a.m. KSU @ 09:00 a.m.

We'll depart RSHD and hit I565 east towards Huntsville. We'll head left on Moorsemill Rd. then a right on Winchester Rd. (turns into Hwy 121). Once we reach Huntland, TN. we'll go left on Main St. then right on Hwy 64. We'll take a pitstop break at the Trolley Rock Truck Stop (gas station) about 4 miles down the road after we get  on Hwy 64. After the break, we'll go right on Hwy 64 towards Winchester and exit on Cowan Rd. We'll take a right and proceed to the Shenanigans Restaurant in Sewanee, TN.

After lunch, we'll proceed to The Cross on Tennessee Ave. (approximately 1.8 miles away)

The Cross will be at the end of the road. We'll loop around the Cross, drive and park along the entry road leading into the cross (parking is limited). We'll spend approximately 30 minutes time on target, then proceed out for our return trip to RSHD.

We'll take Kentucky Ave. then a right on Hwy 41, then a left on Hwy 56, which becomes Hwy 117 in Alabama. We'll proceed to Hwy 72 near Stevenson, AL. after taking a right onto Hwy 72, we'll take a pitstop break at a Texaco gas station along Hwy 72 just down the road a few miles.

Ride incentive pins will be awarded at our pitstop break at this gas station on Hwy 72. Afterwards, we'll take Hwy 72 and I565 back to RSHD (members may depart the ride as desired).

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.  All riders and passengers must sign a release. 

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends, and the individual HOG member.  Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior.  Redstone Chapter #4052 requests you “think before you drink” with the above in mind and refrain from consuming any number of impairment drinks that total more than the number of wheels you are on.  Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride.

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Redstone Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
